Here's a copy of the email I just sent to Arkansas 4th District Congressional Representative Tom Cotton.
Forgive please the line about bombing Israel -- it was intended as obvious sarcasm and should under no circumstances be taken as a literal suggestion.

Sir:

With all the difficulties currently facing the USA, does it seem
logical to send 20 F-16s and 200 M1A1 Abrams tanks to Egypt.

It would make as much sense for the USA to attack Israel directly --
and cut out the middle man.

Where do you stand on this madness? Is there any way to stop it?

Thanks -- and Thank you for your service to America!

When I thanked Tom 'for his service to America', I was of course alluding to his service with the United States Army. Cotton served two tours in Afghanistan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Cotton

Remember folks: Freedom is Not Free! Folks like Tom Cotton raised their right arm and swore to protect and defend. Each and every one of us owes a debt of gratitude to the American Military and to the men and women who have fought and died so that we may be Free! Thank a service person today.
